Abstract: Bianor eximius Wesołowska & Haddad, 2009 Bianor eximius Wesołowska & Haddad, 2009: 23, figs 16–19, 211 (♀); Wesołowska & Cumming 2011: 77, figs 5–7 (♀); Wesołowska & Haddad 2018: 883, figs 15, 43, 44 (♀). Material examined. MOZAMBIQUE: Inhambane: Bartholomew Diaz Point, 21°15.585’S, 35°06.851’E, leaf litter, mangroves, 10.XII.2007, leg. C. Haddad, R. Lyle & R. Fourie, 1♀ (NCA 2020 /113). Distribution. A species known from South Africa and Zimbabwe, recorded from Mozambique for the first time. Remarks. The male of this species remains unknown, which makes confirmation of its validity challenging. Females can be distinguished from those of Bianor albobimaculatus (Lucas, 1846), which is widespread in Africa and Asia (World Spider Catalog 2024), by the large white patches on the abdomen, the very long seminal ducts with three loops, and the multi-chambered receptacles (compare Wesołowska & Haddad 2009: figs 16, 19 with Prószyński 2003: figs 111, 120–122).
