Abstract: This article explores the design and implementation of task-based assessments to competence, a key element of communicative competence, plays a crucial role in students’ language development, enabling them to engage effectively in both written and oral communication. A useful method for assessing this component of competency is task-based exams, which emphasize communication and real-world tasks over memorization.
