In-vitro Study of the Effect of Synergistic Bacterial Consortium on Capsicum annuum Plant Physiology

Year: 2024
Type: article
Abstract: The use of beneficial microorganisms in agriculture has gained considerable attention due to their potential to enhance plant growth, improve nutrient uptake, and increase resilience against pathogens. This study investigates the effects of a synergistic bacterial consortium on the physiological parameters of Capsicum annuum (bell pepper). We examined root elongation, shoot height, chlorophyll content, and overall plant biomass in controlled in-vitro conditions. Our findings suggest that the application of the bacterial consortium significantly influenced growth performance compared to control groups, highlighting the potential for biotic interventions in sustainable agricultural practices.
