Year: 2024
Type: article
Abstract: Sustainable production and consumption are among the key goals of the United Nations. Over the years, member countries have actively developed and enacted legal documents and implemented strong initiatives for sustainable production and consumption. Japan is one of the countries with the best sustainable production and consumption practices globally, with the participation of all stakeholders in society, including regulatory agencies, the business community, consumers, and the media. In Vietnam, government authorities have gradually translated sustainable development goals into legal frameworks. In the future, stronger engagement from various societal stakeholders, such as businesses, consumers, and the media, will be needed to achieve sustainable development goals.
