Abstract: This study examines the impact of the Tribal Component Scheme (TCS) on tribal communities in the Nandurbar district of Maharashtra from 2014 to 2024. The TCS, a government initiative, aims to enhance socio-economic conditions within tribal populations through targeted funding and development programs. This research evaluates the scheme’s effectiveness by analysing quantitative data on fund allocation and utilisation and key socio-economic indicators such as education, health, and income levels among targeted communities
