Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: Artificial Intelligence (AI) is becoming an integral part of both business operations and our daily lives. From education and healthcare to marketing, tourism, and finance, the use of AI has expanded rapidly across industries. Many businesses using AI are seeing improved productivity, but they’re also facing growing risks—especially when it comes to how AI is implemented. At the heart of this issue is data: most AI systems rely heavily on market-sourced information, much of which includes sensitive customer data. This makes the responsible and secure use of data more important than ever. This paper explores how AI technologies intersect with key concerns like data protection and customer privacy. By reviewing existing research, the study highlights the promises AI holds for businesses operating in data-driven environments, as well as the challenges that come with it.
