Topical Issues of the Development of Giftedness of Primary School Pupils

Abstract: In the light of the socio-economic transformations currently taking place in the Republic of Kazakhstan, there is an increasing need to strengthen pedagogical support for gifted children. It is especially important to investigate this problem starting from primary school age. This allows for a deeper insight into the essential component of developing a harmonious personality and adapting to external socio-political and technological changes. In this article, based on the analysis of various scientific sources, the content of the term "giftedness" is revealed. The authors focus on the problem of revealing the phenomenon of giftedness in younger schoolchildren, indicating its importance for the humanization of Kazakh education.
