Renewable Energy Transitions: Solar, Wind and Green Hydrogen
Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: The transition to renewable energy is crucial for mitigating climate change and ensuring energy sustainability. Solar energy, wind energy, and green hydrogen are at the forefront of this transformation. This paper examines the current state of these technologies, their potential for decarbonizing energy systems, and the challenges they face in widespread adoption. We explore technological advancements, economic considerations, and policy frameworks essential for the integration of these resources into existing grids. Green hydrogen, as an energy carrier, also plays a crucial role in decarbonizing hard-to-abate sectors like industry and heavy transportation.
