The Compression Interpretation of Quantum Mechanics
Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: The Compression Interpretation suggests that quantum randomness arises from the high algorithmic complexity of quantum states. Uncertainty reflects our inability to compress the system’s information, not intrinsic indeterminacy. As entropy or complexity decreases, classical predictability emerges. This view links quantum behavior to limits of compressibility, offering a fresh bridge between information theory and quantum physics.
