Preparing the Rubin Community for Early Science

Abstract: In this talk I cover the path towards Early Science with Rubin Observatory's data previews. It is possible to begin preparing now with the simulated data sets, documentation, and tutorials that are available via the Rubin Science Platform. I'll demonstrate how to get your RSP account, what simulated data is currently available, and how to learn to access and analyze it. I will also cover where to go to ask questions to get support for your Rubin-related analyses. I'll end by covering what to expect, in terms of data products and RSP functionality, for the first release of real Rubin data as Data Preview 1 in 2025.
