Abstract: There has not yet been a survey conducted among the students of Vári II. Rákóczi Ferenc Lyceum (Transcarpathia, Berehovo district) regarding the learning of geography. The purpose of the survey was to confirm or refute previous experiences related to students’ geography learning and its evaluated result aim to provide guidance to practicing geography teachers regarding their role and development in future education. Additionally, from the perspective of further education it is important to understand how student perceive the subject of geography, as future geography majors will emerge from among them.
