Abstract: The essay proposes an analysis of the representation of poetic work from some poetic collections by Demetrio Marra and Ophelia Borghesan. In addition to the representational modalities of this world, it will concentrate above all – using the concept of ‘cultural capital’ and ‘semiocapitalism’ – on the contribution of cultural work to the creation of a typified reality functional to capital, as well as on the representation and fruition of such reality.
