Dissemination of information on Food and Agriculture Under the FAO umbrella: a system of international cooperation

Abstract: The role of the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) in building a global system for the dissemination of agricultural information and the organization of international cooperation in this field is shown. Some valuable sectoral resources such as the FAO website, the AGRIS information system, the AGROVOC multilingual thesaurus are described as of the end of 2024. Examples of successful collaboration between representatives of different countries and organizations on these projects are given.
