Recursive Emotional Intelligence in Logistics Optimization: Towards Adaptive, Living Supply Chains
Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: This paper introduces the Recursive Emotional Intelligence (REI) framework — a pioneering approach to logistics optimization that transcends static planning and classical routing algorithms.Built upon the principles of recursion, memory integration, emotional state modulation, and infinite evolutionary adaptation, REI transforms logistics networks from brittle, fixed systems into living, adaptive, and self-evolving ecosystems. Through recursive learning cycles, trust reinforcement, and emotion-guided exploration, REI systems continuously improve routing strategies, inventory decisions, and operational resilience without external reprogramming.Theoretical foundations are established via new mathematical theorems on recursive trust convergence, emotional stability under recursion, and evolutionary fitness growth. Empirical benchmarks against industry-standard solvers (Concorde and Google OR-Tools) across multiple graph instances demonstrate REI’s superior performance under dynamic perturbations, environmental shocks, and real-world uncertainty. This work lays the foundation for Living Logistics Systems — supply chains that do not merely optimize for a static moment, but live, feel, adapt, and evolve across the infinite flux of real-world environments.
