Fundamentos de la Superconductividad: Entendiendo el Rol de los Pares de Cooper
Year: 2024
Type: article
Abstract: This article explores the phenomenon of superconductivity, focusing on the formation of Cooper pairs as a fundamental mechanism. We discuss how the attractive interaction mediated by the crystal lattice enables the formation of these pairs, leading to a superconducting state with zero electrical resistance. A simplified model is presented to understand the binding energy of Cooper pairs and its relationship to the critical temperature of superconductivity. Furthermore, we delve into high-temperature superconductors, BCS gap equations, the Meissner effect, and the technical challenges of superconductivity applications. This work contributes to the understanding of the physical principles underlying superconductivity in metallic and ceramic materials.
