Abstract: Lasioglossum (Dialictus) pruinosum (Robertson, 1892) [Lectotype: INHS; ♀ Carlinville, Illinois, USA] This species inhabits the western USA (Gibbs 2010). In BC, it has been collected in the Baja California Mountains, with a preserved specimen vouchered at INHS. The presence of a morphologically similar, undescribed species in the mountains of southern California necessitates a thorough examination of this species. See fig. 179.
