Charge and Magnetism: Aligned Tension Loops in the USP Field

Year: 2025
Type: report
Abstract: Magnetism is not one observable and not one mechanism. This paper separates the major physical layers that can produce or reveal magnetic behavior: free current, material magnetization, exchange-supported order, domains and anisotropy, spin and domain dynamics, strain and thermal history, and detector response. Maxwell electrodynamics, quantum magnetic moments, electronic band structure, exchange interaction, micromagnetics, Landau–Lifshitz–Gilbert dynamics, spin torques, magnetostriction, finite-temperature magnetic order, and calibrated measurement remain the quantitative baseline. A central distinction is that strong local magnetic order can coexist with a small net magnetic moment because different domains may cancel macroscopically. Compensated antiferromagnetic, altermagnetic, and multipolar systems require their own order parameters and cannot be reduced to the ferromagnetic net-moment picture. The paper also separates current-generated magnetic fields from persistent material magnetization and formalizes a branching source–material–field–detector architecture for magnetic measurements. USP interprets exchange-supported magnetic order as persistent directional resonance geometry and flux-closure structures as transverse coherence-compatible wrapping. These are interpretation-level statements, not replacements for vector and tensor magnetism. Any additional USP contribution must be defined at detector level, remain identifiable against conventional nuisance physics, and transfer to held-out measurements. The exact null remains: A_USP = 0. *SHORT ZENODO SUMMARY A standard-first magnetism foundation separating free-current and material sources, local order from net magnetic expression, and magnetic state from detector response. USP is retained as a constrained resonance-geometry interpretation and exact-null residual framework with A_USP = 0.
