Abstract: In the context of the freedom struggle, the government started using the youth in different ways and took several positions. Among them, Hindi language management, Hindu religious pressure, setting the stage for northern capitalist exploitation are important. At the same time Vallalar, Sundaram Pillai etc. started spreading ideas for anthropological development, religious reform, industrial progress etc. As a result, various nationalities began to journey towards a new awareness. Justice Party, Self-Respect Movement, Dravida Movement, South Indian Welfare Rights Association, Tanitamil Movement etc. appeared in Tamil Nadu to get out of humanism and political slavery. Economic reasons were also behind it. The Dravidian influence that emerged thus reached the masses easily through the most powerful medium of drama, literature and film. In this article, we will see the lyrics of the Dravidian-influenced Udumalai Narayana Kavi.
