Effect of Climate Change on Agriculture Sector and Environment
Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: The Earth is the only planet in our solar system that supports life. Global warming is one of the important consequences of climate change and that this will adversely affect agriculture and rural life. Rainfall, sea level rise, wind, humidity, and temperature are the factors that affect a place's climate. A significant issue brought on by an increase in human activity is climate change, which has a number of direct and indirect effects on health. The average world temperature is predicted to rise by 1.1 to 6.4 degrees Celsius due to an increase in carbon dioxide and greenhouse gases such as methane, ozone, nitrous oxide, and chlorofluorocarbons. Sea levels will increase as a result, and rainfall and snowfall patterns will shift and become more extreme. Increased heat-related mortality, dehydration, the development of infectious diseases, starvation, and harm to public health are only a few of the numerous negative consequences of these climate changes.
