Abstract: Waste is waste generated from a production process, both domestic (household) and industrial. The conflict over throwing away waste is increasingly concerning, many methods and efforts have been made, starting from providing waste areas in public areas and providing waste transport devices in each area. The amount of waste in Pekanbaru City reaches 745.20 tons every day. A waste bank is a community movement or institution that raises the potential of the people's economy by saving waste which can later be exchanged for money or certain goods. The current waste bank system is very similar to the way conventional banks work in general, but in a waste bank it is not money that is saved but waste. Of course, the waste used as a transaction tool has certain criteria such as the type of waste used for saving. In this study, the tool designed will detect the type of waste between Inorganic or Organic. If the detected waste is waste, the servo motor will move 30° towards the inorganic waste bin, conversely if the waste is detected as organic waste, the servo motor will move 30° towards the organic waste bin with the most accurate tool distance at a distance of 20 cm.
