Biological characteristics of Tecoma stans (L.) Juss. ex Kunth introduced in the conditions of the Middle Urals

Abstract: The paper presents research data on the introduction of Tecoma stans (L.) Juss. ex Kunth in adjoining culture in a temperate continental climate (Middle Urals). It was revealed that the plant can have two flowering waves – the period from August to September and from November to January. During the first flowering wave in the open ground of a temperate continental climate, it sets fruits and forms viable seeds with satisfactory sowing qualities that can be used for propagation of the crop.
