Abstract: "This article aims to map the main Research & Development initiatives in artificial intelligence in Brazil, at federal and state levels and in the private sector. The analysis will be based on the limitations of the Brazilian Artificial Intelligence Strategy (EBIA), through exploratory, bibliographical and quantitative research. The relevance of this study is justified by the new geopolitical scenarios and the International Division of Labor (IDL), in which the race for technological and scientific development is a matter of sovereignty of States and the defense of their resources."
