Abstract: The importance of reading in foreign language lessons is constantly increasing. In today’s foreign language lessons, reading primarily means understanding the essential content. Reading in a foreign language is a challenge because it allows you to deal with foreign factual and linguistic knowledge. Students can acquire reading skills in a foreign language through systematic work with different types of texts in class. Choosing the right reading strategy is an important goal in developing reading comprehension.
