The finitude of infinity theorem
Year: 2024
Type: article
Abstract: This theorem explores the concept of infinity and its finitude within the context of quantum mechanics, cosmology, and the philosophical implications of time and entropy. It proposes that infinity, while theoretically limitless, is constrained by irreducible factors such as quantum fluctuations, zero-point energy, and chrono-cosmic cycles. These factors prevent the ultimate end state of infinity, which is generally perceived as unknowable or unreachable. By integrating these principles, the theorem presents a novel framework for understanding the universe’s expansion, the prevention of a Big Freeze, and the cyclical nature of time. The result is a groundbreaking synthesis of cosmological, quantum, and philosophical perspectives, asserting that the infinite universe’s potential is finite but immeasurable. This framework challenges established notions of time and entropy, offering new insights into the universe’s fate and the very nature of existence.
