Abstract: This is the second webinar of the OSTrails Interoperability Webinar Series, focusing on the DMP Interoperability Framework (DMP-IF). In this session, Marek Suchánek (CTU in Prague) presents how DMP-IF enhances research data management by enabling seamless integration across tools and platforms, addressing the need for better interoperability in data management planning. The webinar introduces the motivation behind DMP-IF, presents its key components, and explains how they align with the Plan-Track-Assess framework to support the full research lifecycle. It provides an overview of the current state of DMP-IF. Finally, it outlines planned developments and future directions, focusing on efforts to enhance standardisation, automation, and broader adoption.
