Abstract: The ALMA Band 2 receiver project is presented in the context of the WSU, including a summary of capabilities this receiver will bring with the existing and WSU systems. A brief overview of the receiver design and project status and schedule is presented, along with some of the results, optimisations and lessons learned from the pre-production phase of the project.
