Abstract: Polyneuropathy, organomegaly, endocrinopathy, M-protein and skin changes syndrome (POEMS) is a rare paraneoplastic syndrome, associated with plasma cell dyscrasia. We present a clinical case of POEMS syndrome with specific subacute painful polyneuropathy, weight loss, diarrhea, edema, JAK2 negative polycythemia and Mprotein.Conclusion: POEMS should be considered incases with specific subacute painful sensory and motor polyneuropathy and characteristic bone lesions or skin changes.
