Year: 2024
Type: article
Abstract: The paper addresses the global public health challenge of HIV/AIDS, highlighting inadequate funding and healthcare infrastructure in low and middle-income countries (LMICs) as significant barriers to effective interventions. In this article, we have emphasized the importance of comprehensive education, community engagement, and innovative testing approaches to combat stigma and enhance access to services. The role of traditional healers and faith-based organizations in disseminating accurate health information is also discussed. The paper concludes that a multisectoral approach, including legal reforms and increased investment in research, is essential for reducing new HIV infections globally.
