Abstract: Stenodynerus bluethgeni van der Vecht, 1971 Odynerus pictus Herrich-Schäffer, 1839: 30, ♀ ♂ (type locality not indicated, probably Germany); 1841: pl. 3, pl. 8, fig. d, nom. praeocc., nec Odynerus pictus Curtis, 1826. Stenodynerus bluethgeni van der Vecht, 1971: 131, figs 8–12, ♀ ♂ (type locality: “ Bourdeaux, Drôme (about 30 km east of Montélimar)” [France]). Material examined. AZERBAIJAN. Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic: Ordubad,Kotam, 38°53′25″N, 46°03′27″E, 648 m, 21. VI.2021, 1 ♂, leg. M. Maharramov [CAFK]. Distribution. Western, Southern, and Eastern Europe, Russia (European part, Urals, Western Siberia, Eastern Siberia), Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan (Nakhchivan AR), Turkey, Cyprus, Iran, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, China (North-East, North). Remarks. The species was previously reported from the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic (Aliyeva 2010) but not confirmed by specimen-based records (Fateryga et al. 2021).
