Sparkling together – What do you think is next on the Diamond OA journey?

Abstract: Presentation slides of the joint workshop of the Medical Library at the Charité Berlin and the Alexander von Humboldt Institute for Internet and Society at the Diamond Open Access Workshop Day in Bern on 21 March 2025, 11:00 am-12:30 pm. Much has been said about open research, policy guidelines, and the evolving landscape around Diamond Open Access (DOA). In this workshop, we invite participants to engage in a critical discussion and to explore collaborative approaches to DOA. How can we collectively finance and organise Open Access? Bringing together key perspectives from the Swiss community, the workshop uses the Delphi method (in a mini format) to learn from existing experiences, weigh different perspectives, and jointly reflect on the future direction of DOA.
