Abstract: This book presents Iran's scientific production at the international level, categorized by groups and fields of study, along with their publications, references, and citations in detail. To compare Iran with other countries, six developed countries and nine developing countries have been selected, and their scientific production has been compared based on indicators such as gross national product, human resources, and research and development budgets. Additionally, the participation status of universities and institutions in Iran's scientific production is presented as one of the key indicators in scientometrics. Furthermore, in the sixth chapter of the book, statistics on articles published by Iran in ISI journals, categorized by groups and fields of study from 1981 to 2000, are provided, along with the calculation of impact factors and Iran's share of global production.
