Capacity Building Acceleration Service for European HEIs (CBAS4HEIs)

Abstract: TheCBAS4HEIs is proving to be effective in creating a collaborative knowledge-based environment that can facilitate peer networking to accelerate progress in key areas outlined in the European Research Area (ERA), such as transnational cooperation, local innovation and interoperable skills. The main goal of this service, formed of 2 main educational and learning activities, is to provide HEIs with methods, skills and capabilities to develop transformation strategies related to specific RRI topics in a participatory way and to connect HEIs and stakeholders, by relying on knowledge sharing, mutual learning and Twinning schemes. The long-term impact is to achieve a more open and inclusive R&I system, improved capacities within HEIs to make Open Science and RRI a modus operandi of modern science and interconnected knowledge ecosystems.
