Abstract: This article aims to highlight some aspects of the theme of Inclusion, with regard to psychological, educational and legislative considerations. The body of this work is the legislation pertinent to the selected specialized service and for this study a mapping of public policies regarding inclusion in the State of São Paulo was made. The theoretical framework that supports this article is the studies that prioritize the general characteristics of a school that intends to be inclusive based on the right to education supported by the reflections of authors such as Mantoan, Duarte, Alves and Sassaki from the categories highlighted in the context of the school and the legislation on school inclusion. The method used is verification through bibliographic and documentary research so that a reflection can be made on the possibility of public policies aimed at achieving inclusive schools, necessary to identify the main points and the main deviations for the restructuring of this school, thus proposing inclusion in an effective way that can generate opportunities that truly enable the learning and development of students and that in this way propose the appropriate improvements for achieving true inclusion.
