Discourse on Ecocriticism: A Review

Abstract: Ecocriticism is a branch of literature that studies the correlation between ecology and literature. And this paper aims to discuss the discourse on the synchronic and diachronic development of ecocriticism across the world. However, it starts in the West (especially America) and spreads throughout the world, either the East, the South or the North. Furthermore, the paper tries to raise awareness of the endangered situation of the environment and also discusses some of the critics who have worked in the field of ecocriticism.
