Measurement and Improvement Path Analysis of High-Quality Development Level of Higher Education in Henan Province of China

Abstract: ABSTRACT : Higher education, as the core carrier of knowledge production, technology transformation and personnel training, realizes the high-quality development of higher education in the new era, which not only provides a cornerstone for cultivating new quality productive forces, but also provides a guarantee for promoting the improvement of national scientific and technological innovation level.Based on the data of Henan Province from 2013 to 2022, an evaluation index system for the high-quality development level of higher education was constructed, and the entropy weighted TOPSIS method was used to measure its development level. The calculation results show that the high-quality development level of higher education in Henan Province gradually increased from 2013 to 2022, but there is still a large space for further progress. This paper further puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions to promote the high-quality development of higher education.
