Abstract: The Molasses String Tension Model presents a visual analogy to illustrate time dilation in general relativity. Using the metaphor of two tethered spheres—one falling freely and the other sinking into molasses—this model helps conceptualize the contrasting flow of time inside and outside a gravitational well, such as a black hole.
