Abstract: Modified key to the species of Hypotelus Couplet 11 of the key by Bortoluzzi et al. (2017) can be replaced by the following two couplets to include H. chusqueaticus. Couplets 1–10 are identical to those in Bortoluzzi et al. (2017). 11. Head darker than pronotum; male and female sternite 8 with posterior margin rounded...............................................................................................
