Abstract: In this article, on the basis of world experience, the unique features of the country's geological-exploration, mining industry, their role in the current market economy; Directions for maximizing the benefits of this sector in the context of the development of a green economy; after the completion of excavation works, the restoration of land productivity and the impact of land use on the environment were analyzed; criteria affecting profit maximization were determined.
