Abstract: This repository contains a simulation framework for analyzing battery demand and supply and raw material requirements for Europe. The code is modular and designed to run flexible Monte Carlo simulations with adjustable parameters. This code is used in: Link, S., Schneider, L., Stephan, A., Weymann, L., Plötz, P. (2024): Feasibility of meeting future battery demand via domestic production in Europe. The source code of the model is available via PROBAT_sourceCode.zip - Download this file and follow the instructions described in the README.md file. The original results of the paper are saved in resultsPaper.zip We do not assume any liability for completeness, correctness and accuracy of the information.
