Abstract: This paper examines Bukhara’s potential in Uzbekistan’s tourism industry, with a particular focus on the economic effects of advancing Ziyarah tourism. It highlights key pilgrimage sites, explores opportunities across various sectors, identifies existing challenges, and proposes strategies for sustainable development. Through collaboration between local communities, stakeholders, and policymakers, Bukhara can unlock the full potential of Ziyarah tourism while preserving its historical and cultural integrity for future generations.
