Abstract: The 2024 National Informatics Associations Workshop, held on 30 October and chaired by Pekka Orponen (Aalto University), Manuel Carro (Technical University of Madrid/IMDEA Software Institute), and Heri Ramampiaro (NTNU), focused on "AI in Informatics Education and Professional Practice." It featured discussions on the impact of GenAI on education and industry skill needs, along with a community review of the updated IE/NIA report on Recommendations for Informatics Research Evaluation.
