Gravitational Waves and Gravitons in USP Field Theory: A New Interpretation of Spin-Based Gravity

Year: 2025
Type: report
Abstract: A gravitational-wave residual is not simply the difference between detector data and one fitted waveform. This paper follows the full measurement chain: source radiation → standard propagation → observer-plane tensor strain → detector projection → instrumental response → strain reconstruction → waveform inference → residual testing. General Relativity, calibrated PN/EOB/phenomenological and numerical-relativity waveforms, detector calibration, noise models, and standard statistical inference remain the quantitative baseline. USP interprets the calibrated transverse-traceless disturbance as a dynamic change in non-material pathway geometry. It does not replace tensor strain with a scalar Δf field and introduces no material carrier. The observer-plane residual architecture is: h_TT,phys = h_TT,GR + A_USP R_TT,USP with the exact null: A_USP = 0. Version 2.1 strengthens source-to-observer propagation, detector response versus reconstruction, residual normalization, nuisance identifiability, waveform-systematics tests, ringdown completeness, lensing false-positive control, and held-out transfer requirements. No independently derived nonzero USP gravitational-wave residual is claimed. *SHORT ZENODO SUMMARY A tensor-first gravitational-wave foundation that follows source radiation through propagation, detector response, reconstruction, waveform inference, and residual testing. USP is restricted to a predeclared tensor residual beyond the complete GR measurement pipeline, with exact null A_USP = 0.
