Abstract: This reflective essay is a theoretical exploration of human capabilities within organizations during the ongoing era of artificial intelligence (AI). The primary aim is to introduce and define a new theoretical concept: adaptive HI (Human Intelligence). Adaptive HI emphasizes the importance of human reflexivity, learning agility, and ethical considerations in the AI era, ensuring that AI serves human intelligence and societal goals rather than overshadowing them.
