Abstract: AI is changing how EFL learners build speaking skills. Tools like chatbots, speech recognition, and virtual assistants help boost confidence, fluency, and independence. Studies show learners using apps like Duolingo or Google Assistant improve more than those in traditional classes. These tools offer instant feedback and reduce anxiety, making speaking practice more accessible. Still, challenges like tech access and teacher training remain. This article explores how AI supports language learning and what needs to be done to use it effectively.
