Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: In the modern world of foreign language learning, special attention is paid not only to grammatical correctness of speech but also to the ability to communicate effectively in various social contexts. Sociolinguistic competence represents the ability to use language in accordance with social norms and cultural characteristics of native speakers. For B1 (intermediate) level students, developing this competence becomes particularly relevant, as at this stage, learners have already mastered basic language structures and are ready for more complex forms of communication [3].
