A Review on Concepts of Novel Drug Delivery Systems
Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: Novel drug delivery systems have great potential to enhance treatment effectiveness, minimize sideeffects, and support personalized medicine. As technology progresses, these systems are poised totransform healthcare, leading to improved therapeutic outcomes for patients. Novel drug delivery systems(NDDS) mark a significant breakthrough in medicine, addressing the shortcomings of traditional drugdelivery methods. These systems enhance drug bioavailability, enable controlled release, provide targeteddelivery, and minimize side effects, thereby improving therapeutic outcomes. NDDS are especiallybeneficial in managing complex diseases such as cancer, chronic conditions, and genetic disorders. Withongoing advancements in research and technology, NDDS are poised to become essential in personalizedmedicine, offering more efficient, effective, and patient-centered treatments. However, challenges relatedto manufacturing, regulatory approval, and scalability must be overcome to fully unlock their potential inclinical application
