Language Aptitude at Primary School LAPS: Research design

Abstract: This chapter delineates the design of the LAPS project. We start with an outline of the research questions, followed by a description of the curricular context of foreign language learning at Swiss primary schools. Next, we will give a full description of the test instruments and how they were implemented, as well as details on the participants and procedures. Finally, data entry and scoring will be outlined.
