Abstract: The European Medicines Agency (EMA) has launched the European Shortages Monitoring Platform (ESMP) to gather information about medicine availability, supply and demand in order to prevent, detect, and manage human medicine shortages in the European Union (EU) and European Economic Area (EEA).
