Abstract: : We want to treat here the general question of language which is intimately linked to thinking. Therefore, our generic analysis concerns some essential issues of linguistics from a philosophical angle. One can cite for instance, language innerness, cognition, usage, sociability of human tongue, descriptive linguistics and normative grammar, metaphor, ambiguity, and interaction between internal and external branches of linguistics. Our cardinal question is then: how to give an overview of linguistics? We think that this general approach serves deeply other research in the future.
