The History of the Development of Engineering in Russia at Steel Structures Manufacturing Plants

Abstract: The article suggests a stage-by-stage development of the production of building steel structures in Russia, taking into account the availability of rolled metal and the technological equipment of manufacturing plants – five stages. The preparation of the technological process for the manufacture of steel structures is influenced by a number of factors of both scientific and technical development of the manufacturing industry. The article took into account the following factors: the range of rolled metal used in construction and special structures; new structural forms of structures; availability of new technological equipment; methods of factory and assembly connection of structures; the required level of quality inherent in the project. The advantages and disadvantages of the options for preparing technical documentation for the production of steel building structures and power transmission poles are analyzed, taking into account the specifics of the requirements of regulatory documents regulating the quality and manufacturing technology of the manufacturer, based on the ESCD, SPDS standards and departmental regulatory and methodological documents. The organization of the work of the design department of the Donetsk plant of high-voltage supports is considered in detail, taking into account the scientific work and training of designers. According to the authors of the article, the most optimal organization for the preparation of technical documentation for the production of steel building structures and power transmission poles is the system developed by the Donetsk Plant of High-voltage poles.
